Can I leave the sensor battery plugged in overnight?

Leaving the sensor plugged in overnight will result in decreased lifespan of the battery and is therefore not recommended. The optimal time for charging a sensor that is indicating its battery level in red (via battery meter in the app) is 30 minutes. A 30 minute charge will typically last several days in average use.

What does the SenScore represent? (Or, how is the SenScore calculated?)

SenSen’s SenScore presents a representative value of the overall instability of a test subject during one of the postural sway tests. The SenScore is calculated using the Normalized Path Length of a test subject and is measured in mG/s/s.

The scale for the SenScore runs from 1 (“perfect balance”), requiring no movement on the part of test subject, up to 10+. Test Subjects with a SenScore of approximately 1 to 2.5 are exhibiting stable balance. A SenScore up to 7 is moderately unstable balance, and anything from 7 to 10 is considered unstable. It is possible to get a SenScore that is higher than 10–the score is not capped.

Please note that these scoring criteria are observational only and come from internal testing. There is no formal study evaluating what is stable, moderately unstable, and unstable movement.
